Sirena began in 1959 when Arnold Seckler named his swimsuit company the spanish word for "mermaid".  

The company had a strong record of growth during the 1960's,70's, and 80's.  In 1994 the company went public and the Sirena brand achieved sales of more than $50 million.  During the next 20 years, the brand continued to flourish

In 2012, Sirena swimwear was acquired by SWIMUSA
